A 1985 film directed by Sulev Keedus and Vets Illis. "Võrokese" translated to English, "Võro people" is a film that features a city through its people. Aare Männiste, first secretary of the Võru district committee of the Estonian Communist Party, Vadim Chernopov, chief architect of the district, Evald Oimet, artist-decorator of the Võru Furniture Factory, Ilmar Reiman, principal of Võru 1st Secondary School with his graduating students, Siiri Toomik, senior researcher of the Fr.R. Kreutzwald Museum, choirmaster, composer and organist Paul Elken, young married couple Asta and Peeter Pant and Eduard Tagamets, former tower watchman of Suur-Munamäe.
