A long-sleeved shirt for a man. It is sewn from a wool fabric with black and green checks on a red background. The dress-like shirt reaches down to the knees. The shirt is sewn entirely by hand. Worn from use, faded from wear, the sleeves, hem and back have been patched with pieces of black checked fabric on a blue background. Collected by Collected by A. O. Heikel in 1901 on the Livonian coast in 1901 in Miķeļtornis (Livonian: Pizā, German: Pissen.) From the Finno-Ugric Collection of the National Museum of Finland.
