The virtual collection of the Finno-ugric Dataspace about the culture of Setomaa and the Seto people. The mission of the collection is to connect relevant historical photographs in various private and public collections.
The collection is currently curated by Ieva Pigozne (garments), Daniel Antal (digital curation). We are inviting new curators knowledgeable about Setomaa or the Seto culture. In the database, the collection page is Seto Garment Collection (database). Original collection

Our original collection items are color-corrected, large resolution photographs that are released with a DOI and and ISCC ISO-standard unique identifier.
- handwoven and handsewn mattress in Värska Farm Museum (15003021); This is a handwoven and handsewn mattress cover that consists of two different linen fabrics, filled with hay. The earliest mattresses were made of a cover that was filled with hay or straw. Värska Farm Museum, Setomaa, Estonia.
- We collect items from small and private collections that are not known for textile researchers.
