On 1992.01.29. (was according to the old calendar) an Estonian Television film crew was recording the customs of Tõnisepäeva in the villages of Põrste and Jastrovo in Setumaa. In the emptying village of Põrste, the family of Maria (Manni) Vanametsa participated in the customs of Tõnisepäeva - preparing a pig's head for blessing in the church of the neighboring village of Jastrovo. The winter ice conditions did not allow traveling to the island to fulfill the traditional customs there. The day ended with a joint feast, with a pig's head in the place of honor. Mare Piho encouraged older people to talk about the beliefs associated with the day.
