A women's woolen socks, pair from the Livonian coast. The socks are knitted in stripes. The colors of the stripes are burgundy, light and aniline red, green, yellow, electric blue and white. The stocking shaft has a white patterned stripe with diamonds and squares in blue and aniline red yarn. The mouth of the shaft has a lace-like cable knit, which is 6 cm wide. Collected by A.O. Heikel on the Livonian coast in 1901 in Miķeļtornis (Livonian: Pizā, German: Pissen.) From the Finno-Ugric Collection of the National Museum of Finland.
