Slovak Comprehensive Music Database (SKCMDb)

The SKCMDb database consists of the following datasets which also work as collections:

• composers in Slovakia: people who have composed music on the territory of the modern Slovak Republic, or composers of Slovakian origin.
• musical groups in Slovakia: musical groups on the territory of the modern Slovak Republic, or of performers of Slovakian origin.
• music publishers in Slovakia: music pubilshing organisations (for example Hudobný Fond) and music publishing companies (for example A-Tempo Verlag s.r.o. Slovakia) that are registered with SOZA to collect royalties from Slovakia.

• classical music): A collection of classical music works from Slovakia, they are organised into sub-collections to improve searchability. For example, string quartets (SKCMDb) is found within the chamber music subcollection. You can find here, for example String Quartet "Musica dolorosa" .
